What do you see under network connections? The wireless network
connection could be called "Local Area Connection". To see what
device a network connection uses, right-click the connection and click
Properties.

If there's truly no sign of the wireless network there, go to Device
Manager and look for it. Also, see if there's a setting on your
computer that turns off the wireless network or disables the radio.

Does device manager show the Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card? Did you
turn on the wireless antenna switch located on the left side of your
computer? Are the drivers properly installed? Did you configure TCP/IP
networking?

If your device manager does not show the wireless card try reinstalling the
card using add new hardware.
