Wireless LAN and XP

I just bought a Belkin router and Wireless LAN card. I
tried all I could to get it working and spent hours and
hours with the Belkin support team. It is dropping
packets. Hence, I can barely connect to the web. Now I've
reformatted my laptop and tried the LAN card, it worked
fine. Then I updated with SP1. As soon as the update was
done and rebooted LAN card, and it no longer worked. I
reformatted again and and tried it without Service Pack
1, it worked fine. Just to make sure I again udated with
Service Pack 1 Same result. LAN droped out. Now for the
last three days I've been working without any update and
my wireless LAN Card works fine.
If anyone has a solution other than staying away from the
updates. Please let me know.

Have the similar problem. Changed another Lan card and
problem solved.A combination of problem between your PC
config + Lan card driver + XP SP1.
