I am having this bizzare problem. I just reinstalled windows and upgraded to
SP2 on my Presario. I had no wireless problems before (on SP1). I am using a
Netgear MA521 card and Netgear WGT624v2 wireless router; again had no
problems before SP2 was installed.

Now, the internet hardly works, only about 30 seconds after I boot. I can
maybe bring up one page and then the connection dies. It will not work again
until I reboot. I can ping the router and other computers on the network. I
can even transfer files, etc. across the network, its just the internet that
doesn't work. I have latest drivers for the card, latest firmware for the
router...this is freaking me out! HELP!!!!

Mike.

Power off the modem and router, leave down for one minute. Power up the
modem, and when it is fully booted (two lights constant), power up the
router. Reboot computer. HTH.

Mike,

I see you already got some good advice. Just in case you keep
having this problem, you could use
