winxp sound and display probs

i had to reinstall xp and now i have no sound and i
cannot change my screen resolution...it's stuck on
640x480. i can't change it because everything is stuck
on the default settings. someone please help!!!!!

You need the drivers for the video card and the sound
card. If this is an OEM system (no major brand name) you
may find the drivers on a CD (or CDs) that came with the
system. Otherwise you may have to open the system to
identify the two cards (or chips) and check the
manufacturer's web site for XP drivers.
