I have driver problems on start up, it asks for the winxp disc to repair
problem by doing this will it also wipe my drive has well? Thanks

If it is asking for the Windows XP CD then one can only assume that the
driver it requires is on the XP CD. In this case no it will not wipe your
drive. It will simply access and install the driver it needs.

As long as it does not ask you for permission to format, you are fine. If it
asks about Format, bail out immediately.
