WinXP re-install

i want to reinstall XP on my Dell...unfortunatley i lost
the XP CD that came with the dell...I do have a full
edition XP disk that i bought for my other computer... if
i use that CD and the XP product key on the side of the
Dell...will it work? or can i do the thing with TweakXP
and backup and then restore the activation file?

No, it won't work. You need to contact Dell support
and request a CD replacement.

Matt;
No, the OEM Product Key will not work with your retail CD.
Contact Dell for replacement CD.

Also, backing up the two WPA files does not work on a Clean
Installation.
And would not work with a different CD.
