In particular I got a couple of large files:
258 MB
\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\e4c30ce05b836c8165208ed76b2210fa9c814
acb
282 MB
\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\737b01db75140dc883714ce06e64e51a37310

They are Windows Updates Folders of the History on the updates installed on
your system, you can delete them but they will come back after reboot.
Leave as they are unless you have trouble, do you?.

thank you.
yes I do have a couple trouble.

- I have only 134 of free space on c: and need to defrag the c: badly
from time to time on shutdown, the system hangs along while before
shutting down ( couple hours or more) sometimes just don't shutdown down
even overnight. I would then have to force shutdown by holding down the
front power button

Since you say they will come back, at least I can delete them for
defragmentation

just a bit curious, if only history why storing a few hundred meg for quite
number of items with name that look like GUID

A defrag won't help with a slow shutdown of a couple of hours.
