WinXP - installing drivers problem

W

Warpz

I just purchased a new computer for christmas and i am having
troubles installing drivers for my keyboard, mp3 player, and
other usb devices. I always get the same error during the
driver install:

Cannot install this Hardware - "Not enough storage is available
to process this command."

My computer has the following:
250gig hard drive
512 mb ram
p4 3.2 ghz

I always have all other applications closed during the installs,
so i dont know what the problem is. Any ideas/advice will be
greatly appreciated.

USB Hub Power Management - disable :

Start/run, type DEVMGMT.MSC , then rightclick each USB Hub device,
Properties, uncheck the box on the Power Management tab.

I am having similar issues but with a PCI SCSI card. The system identifies
the new hardware and attempts to install the drivers but gets the error 'Not
enough storage is available to complete this command'.

Did you ever resolve your problem? I've tried everything on this box and
nothing appears to fix the problem.
