think I have had a similliar issue when it connects to the site after
clicking on a file IE hangs just before the save dialogue box I had it
happen on 2 fresh installs of XP home. the kicker is it comes & goes
even with the current updates installed I suspect it's something on
the ftp's server side
Me too, especially when accessing msdn sites. i think the
sites do some probing of my machine to determine the
right files to share.
