WinXP-CD writer

I've installed NERO for my CD-writer, but still get the WinXP CD writer icon
in the task bar. And still get XP messages when I remove a CD.

How do I disable/un-install XP's CD write utilities????

Open My Computer and right-click on the icon for the cd-rw drive. Choose
Properties and then look on the Recording tab. Uncheck the box to
enable recording on this drive.
