wins replication problems

Hi..I've been battling this problem for awhile now and
was hoping someone might have be able to hlep.

I'm trying to setup WINS replication between two Windows
2000 DCs. For some reason, I just can't seem to get the
two to exchange information. I have set up Push/Pull
replication partners on both servers, each server
pointing to the other (i.e. Server A has Server B setup
as a replication partner and vice versa). I click on
Replicate now on either server and it says the request
has been queued but nothing is updated. There are no
errors in the event log.

Am I missing something here? I have followed Microsoft's
white papers on configuring replication and it seems
pretty straightforward. I cant figure out what I'm
missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt L.

Hello Matt,

I am assuming that you do have TCP 42 open for WINS replication. Try
telnetting from one WINS server to the other on port 42 to test this out.
What are your replication intervals anyway?
