WINNT/SYSTEM32 FOLDER COMES UP FOR NO APPARENT REASON

My brother has a pentium II with Windows 2000 pro. At startup it opens the folder winnt/system32 for no reason. Even after closing it, everytime at startup it comes up. Any idea on how to make this stop? What is causing it? Your help is appreciated.

I'm sorry for being so vague. I found the article using your link. It
took straight to it. I do thank you. I was trying to say that
initially I tried looking for it because I contacted the discussion
thread and couldn't find anything on my problem. But you seemed to do
so w/o any trouble at all! I guess it helps being a Network Manager.
