Since these programs died (sort of) I wonder what are you guys
currently using for music (and other stuff) download ?
Btw, I'm on 64k dial-up, so programs with long time
waiting queue are not an option (but nevertheless,
I would like to know which are the most popular ones)

Re WinMX
You might go here and try this, some p2p folks haven't given up even in
spite of the recent court ruling(s) re copyrights, etc

http://www.vladd44.com/mx/peercaches.php

Some of the folks I know that use P2P are now using LimeWire

Personally it's just too creepy anymore, altho I think P2P actually
encouraged people to purchase music.....films and such may have been/are a
different matter

These are also very good.

Epicea

You might try Gnucleus. Open source and no unwanted nasties included.

Or just go to sourceforge.net and search for p2p apps. There's dozens of
them, for just about every p2p net out there.
