Winmail issues

OK..I have a couple of registered domains with associated email accounts.
These were set up via 123-reg.

I have managed to set up my Winmail so that I can access
(e-mail address removed) but have tried to add a new account and am having major
issues - (e-mail address removed)

The account is showing up OK in my list of accounts on WinMail but if I try
to send an email from this account I get the following error:

Account: 'Healing-Spaces', Server: 'pop.123-reg.co.uk', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR Login failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

If I hit Send / Receive I get asked again and again for username / password.
It doesn't matter which username / password combination I put in (and
believe me, I have tried them ALL) nothing works. If I try and bypass it or
hit cancel I get this:

Account: 'Healing-Spaces', Server: 'pop.123-reg.co.uk', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR Invalid command.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91

I am seriously losing my mind here. I have checked with the support team for
the domain / email accounts and they insist it is a problem with WinMail.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sara

There is only a single username & password for that specific account
Is the account supposed to be configured a SSL?

Have you tried using the online email in 123-reg? You can verify that the
username and password are correct. There are many other online email sites
that you can also use for diagnostic purposes.

Have you looked carefully at the account settings? There might be a
difference you have not noticed.
