WinDVD Creator 2 no preview during capture

I was hoping to get some help here since HP just wanted me to do a
destructive recovery. I am unable to get a preview during capture using live
Tv and the VCR while using WinDVD Creator. Once I stop the recording the
file is ther but no preview in the window during capture. The preview
winmdow works during burning a MS-DVR file .
