WindowsXP Home Logon/Password issue - Help if you can

Hi gang,

It's always been said that if you have one clock, you always know what
time it is--but with two clocks you never know since they're never exactly
displaying the same time.

Well, I see this, too, with PCs. I have two PCs and try my best to set
them up identically. Yet, when I boot them up each day and arrive at the
login screen, I have a different choice. I've tried looking everywhere and
can't find the solution even though I think it's a simple fix and I'm just
overlooking something. Here's the issue...

One PC reaches the login screen and makes me click the user (even if there
is only one available, but also if a Guest user or others are available)
before presenting me with the "fill in the password" blank. I find this to
be a bit of a nuisance for logging in since it requires me to use the mouse
to choose the user and keyboard to type in the password.

The other PC reaches its login screen (with my regular plus a Guest user
option available) but already has the regular user password blank open. With
this PC, I can just use the keyboard by typing in my password then pressing
<Enter>. No mouse needed.

What am I missing? How can I get the first PC to boot to the login page
**with the password blank already open**? Even odder, in the past, this PC
has booted in the way I want, so I must have done something to change it.
But for the life of me, I can't think or find anything I've done that could
affect this.

Thank you in advance if you can help!

activate automatically sync with internet time server that shd keep both
