WindowsXP Fonts problem

When I purchased my present computer, it came with Windows XP which has it's
own type of fonts installed.

Now I find a few apps Like Printshop calling for certain fonts to open my
own the old files I made while using Win95, Win98 etc. How can I extract
those earlier font files from the Win95/98 CD's?

I do not know if you can extract fonts from Win9x CD but you can copy them
from an installed Windows 9x syste,
