Windowsupdate page says I am up to date, but I am not.

Can anybody give me some tips? I was installing updates from
windowsupdate.microsoft.com, after one of the reboots I tried to continue
updating as I was but now I am told there are no more updates. This was a
fresh XP install before I started updating.

Can anybody give me some tips or advice?

Windows Update reports that new updates are not available, although
your computer is not up to date.
