I installed winXP Pro. over the home edition but it works
only after a fashion and not the same as when I first
purchased the computor!tHE comp. is identified as hp pavion
734n. This message is being type with my left hand because
i can not use my right hand because it is paralysed.

I think you need to explain a bit more. What do you mean by "not the same as

purchased the computor!"?

Is mentioning your right hand paralysis some pathetic attenpt to gain
sympathy?? I can't see how your disability has any connection with your
computer problem. What was the purpose in making that staement.
