short answer,yes long answer ,forget about it,many people have tried and
failed,the only way this is possible is to have windowsME load into a
ramdrive, good luck.
 
One can create easily a bootable cd in
Easy Cd Creator and that is exactly what
you say in your message.

There are several interesting options for this at SourceForge
(.com). One (can't remember the name right now) even provides
boot-from-CD capabilities on PCs with a BIOS too old to support
it.
