Windows2000 log-on screen password

I have locked myself out of Windows2000 sign on screen.
Please explain how to bypass this sign on screen and
disable once in Windows.

The username is 'Administrator'
but do not know the password. I have
tried, 'admin', 'admininstrator', leaving it blank.
does not let me get into Windows2000.

Please help me fix this problem.

Hi Lee,

if this is the logon password, then take the Backup
of your Hard drive, re-install the OS.

You're either ignorant, or you're a troll. There are
several ways to reset the Win2000 password -
just check this newsgroup for previous posts with
the word "Password" in the Subject line. Telling
the OP to re-install Win2000 is about the worst
possible advice you could give him.

Lee,

Go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html
and follow the instructions for creating a bootdisk that
will allow you to reset the password.
It's a truly beautiful thing. (It worked for me in Win 2K
Pro!)
