Windows XPP sys req

We (my supervisor and I) are discussing the possibility of
upgrading my computer from 2000 Pro to WinXP Pro. My
problem is determining how well it will run. The Ram is
good enough (192MB) but what worries me is that its an old
PII 400Mhz Optiplex GX1. The website says the minimum is
300Mhz so I'm trying to decide if it would be quicker if I
left 2000 running. Thanks.

Sorry for my impatience but we're on a bit of a schedule
and I was hoping to get this over with.
