Windows XP_ and Sage instant accounts +

I have a desktop with a copy of sage accounts on and this
works fine. My laptop a rock quaddra TI runs a second
user version and links ok. However, on the laptop the
date shows in the bottom right of sage as the current
date but on entering data the field date is always at
year 2000. Even after changing the date within sage.
This works at the bottom of screen but not for teh
field. Sagre say change the regiional setitngs away from
Uk and reboot and back again although this does not work
as sometimes the regional settings just resets itself to
Uk. Even in regional settings in advanced you cannot
change the date format as says characters used incorrect
even though from a drop down list. I am sure it is
regional settings where the problem lies. Anyone else
had this prob;lem and is it easy to fix.

This is more a local problem affecting UK customers. I suggest that you
should post this question at UK based accounting site where I remember
answering a similar question sometime ago until they got their resident
