I recently purchased new computer with XP as the
operating system. The computer came with a 19" black
flat monitor. I recently purchased MS Encarda 2005 and
was disappointed that when I use the dictionary it only
measures 5 1/2 high X 7 1/2 wide. I felt that there must
be some way to increase the size to fill up a good portion
of my 19" screen.

Any body have any suggestion?? They would be greatly
appreciated.

I don't think that it's an Xp glitch, I think it's Encarta...open this link
and scroll down until you see the comparison between the older and newer
version of Encarta.

Here is what it said, but you might find the entire article helpful.
Another irritating feature is that the window in which the dictionary
appears cannot be resized or zoomed to full screen. Once again, the earlier
release did not suffer from this annoying restriction. One final criticism
is that the new version lacks entries that appeared in the older one. In
particular, certain everyday colloquial terms which were formally described
as 'offensive' have now been excised. In its favour, the new dictionary does
come with no less than four bilingual dictionaries to translate between
English and German, French, Italian or Spanish. The old version only had the
German and French dictionaries.
