Windows XP Windows XP change time synchronization frequency

Can the frequency for updating XP's internal clock be
changed> ie: once a day, twice a day. It only update once
a week presently.

The Internet update time can be altered via the Registry:

Navigate to the following key:

and double click on 'SpecialPollInterval' in the right hand pane - default is 604800 (7 days) in seconds (Decimal). You can change the Decimal value to what ever you want. I have mine set to 86400 (24 Hours). You will need to restart your system for this change to take effect.

**If you do alter this key, please backup the Registry first - Please read/download the accompanying documentation.**
