In my control panel under add/remove programs, there are loads of updates
listed like security updates and updates and windows xp hotfix. My question
is : Can I delete some of them safely and if so, how do I know which ones to
delete? Thank you. Wallo

You can't "delete" from there, you UNINSTALL. And that means that you remove
all the updates that you have installed. You can, (if you are so short of
diskspace) remove the uninstall folders from C:/Windows. Those are the
files and folders with names beginning $NT......however if you do delete
these files/folders you will not be able to uninstall the particular
Update.
