Windows XP Update keeps sending & sending

I'm getting an automatic Windows Update every day. A
Security Update for Windows XP - KB835732.
Always the same number even though I've installed it each
time it came in.
Can anyone help?
 
The exact same thing has been happening to me! During the past week I've
received automatic updates everyday, sometimes several times a day, for this
Windows XP patch KB 835732.

I hope you don't mean that you are being sent an "update" by email?
 
It's the automatic Windows Update programme. And when I
go to uninstall KB 835732 I'm told it will affect my ant-
virus programme. And then 24 hours later it comes again
via the automatic Windows Update!!!

Help.

Can't we get Microsoft to help. Anyone know how to?
 
Thanks - useful - but don't think it has resolved the
issue. When I go to the Windows Update page it doesn't
show I need the get the Security Update for Windows XP -
KB835732
 
Thanks again - this looks promising. I'll tell you if it
doesn't help solve the problem.
 
It seems Windows Update isn't sending the same patch. But
updates.
