windows xp uninstall

im trying to uninstall xp home edition but i don't have a windows xp in my
add /remove programs i removed xp one time before with no problems

any help would be appreciated

No, it wouldn't be.

The normal way to "uninstall" *any* operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

i removed xp one time before with no problems


Then you already know what needs to be done.

Did you upgrade from Windows 9x?

You need to backup your data,
then format the drive and reinstall

i am also having the same prolem,i con't uininstall as it is not listed in
my programs to uninstall, and I cannot formt the drive asXP is not built on
dos, therefore I can't startup in dos and you cannot format within windows

You have to Boot from the XP CD. Windows won't allow you to delete the
operating system drive you booted from.
