Windows Xp : Task Manager Problems

I want to know how to enable the Task manager ( the CTRL+ALT+DEL one). I
have found that mine has be disabled due to Administrator Settings, I am the
administrator and I did not disable it.

I can not terminate hung programs other than a restart and it is becoming
anoying.

Actually, you did when running malware with administrative privileges.
Note that such restrictions do *not* come out of the blue.
I can not terminate hung programs other than a restart and it is
becoming anoying.

Although you got a reply already, scanning your system for malware is
more important.

You are welcome but as Detlev Dreyer said, you checked the computer for
malware or not ?
