Windows XP start up

Windows XP sp2 starts up fine & loads my startup programs as I have set it up
in startup menu. It also opens the window C:\WINDOWS\system32, which is not
requested in any setup! Any help with how to disable this
C:\WINDOWS\system32 so it doesn't open on startup?

Thanks for the link; xp_system32opens.vbs did the trick. The issue popped a
while ago on its own, do you have an explanation or what may have caused this
folder to open on startup?
