Hello all,
Is it possible to customize the All Programs tab in the Start menu
with a list of applications you want to launch when the All Programs
tab is selected using GPO? If so what steps will I need to take?

As you have stated that you are using Windows XP you could consider using
folder redirection for the start menu, which would allow you to direct users
to different start menu locations that you could pre-populate. This could be
configured to point to a folder on the local machine or a server share.

Thank you Dave...your suggestion worked. I was able to use Group
Policy, User Configuration, Folder Redirection to redirect the start
menu to a folder on a server share
