Windows xp sp3 does not appear in Window update

After I installed Windows xp sp3, I went to Windows update website.
But it is not listed in Windows update. Is this the way it should?

Are you looking in Review Your Update History? It shouldn't show as a
downloadable update. It should be listed in the Control Panel | Add/Remove
Programs.

Yeah, I meant Windows xp sp3 did not show in the update history.
 
Once SP3 is installed, Windows Update should only show any post SP3 updates
that need to be installed.
SP3 should no longer be listed as it has already been installed.

I meant after intallation, Windows xp sp3 did not show up in the list
of installed updates when I checked in the review update history
website.
 
The date and time was 11/3/2008 5:39 PM, and on a whim, Peter pounded

Hi Peter,

Look in Add/Remove Program instead. It will show there.
