I have a client who had one of the original Windows XP Profession SP2
Integrate Betas. Is there a way to bypass the beta status and install the
commercial release of SP2 without reloading the workstation?

Jupiter,

I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately, I believe that the version
of the SP2 is prior to RC1 or 2. When the live update attempts to install
sp2, it errors saying that this version cannot be updated. Is there a way to
rename a sp2 file to get around this or is it going to be a reload issue.

Mark;
Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control.
Double click Service Pack 2.
Follow prompts to uninstall and reboot.

In that case the only safe course is to remove the SP2: there ought to
be an Uninstall item in Add/Remove programs if you check the 'show
updates' box. It should be pointed out that Beta testers who had that
legitimately, and those getting the preview of the RC versions, were
told strongly *not* to install on a production system.
