I cannot install the service pack 2 on my XP prof
edition. It says "Access denied" halfway throught the
installation. It downloads everything fine, but stops
installing half way through.
 
You receive an "Access is denied" error message when you try to install Windows XP Service Pack 2

Robin:
I have exactly the same problem. Tried it twice to no
avail. Found suggestion to create new user with admin.
privileges ...havn't tried this yet. If you find a fix
please post.
