I have an original cd of Windows XP Service Pack 2, 2002 Version with code
0504 Product Number X10-59871. My problem is my missing product key number. I
don't know if I can be helped out with another product key number or else the
CD would be useless. Thank you very I much if I would be provided with
another that will work with my Win Xp OS software.

If your Windos XP is still running on a PC, you can find your
"current" Windows XP key by installing Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder

If Windows is running and this is *not* an OEM machine (Dell, HP, etc.) you
can use a free key finder to get your product key.

If this is an OEM machine (branded or generic-built) it will have the COA
sticker on it with the product key.

If you have used this install disk to install XP sometime in the past and
used the product key that came with it; then the key is still in the computer
that you installed it on. You can use one of the keyfinder utilities to
extract the key from that install. NEVER SEPARATE THE DISK FROM IT'S ORIGINAL
PACKAGING. If you do, and lose the packaging, you get to buy a new copy of
XP. Afterall, it's the key that you pay for; not the disk.

I will second that program. I've used it more than once.

Although becareful writing down your key. I wrote it down wrong once, had to
call Microsoft, they charged me $10 for a new key. It was some Indian dude I
couldn't understand too well. He had to read the key several times to me in
order to get it to work because I couldn't understand him.
