Hi,
Not sure if you can help, but here we go....

I have a wireless network (D-LINK) that consists of two PC's. One PC has
Windows XP Pro and the other has MCE. Both are XP SP2.

If I try copy a file from one PC to the other it causes a reboot in the
target PC. Reading files works OK.

The rebooted PC claims that the error is caused by McAfee Security Center
and that the issue is a known problem, however I have not been able to find
reference to the problem on either McAfee.com or Microsoft.com. I have tried
switching off Security Center but this doesn't seem to help. I guess I could
try uninstalling McAfee?

I hope someone might be able to help me, because I'm running out of ideas.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

yes, you should try that. I personally would leave it
uninstalled anyway.

If that is not the cause, the most likely culprit is the network
adapter driver. Update it to the latest version.
