Windows XP randomly rebooting for no reason?

I am running Windows XP Pro SP1 with all updates and
norton AV with all updates and today the computer started
randomly rebooting. I can load it up and print and it
will just turn off, no blue screen, no error message,
just screen goes black and then the power on test
appears. I can run it in safe-mode with no problems, but
as soon as I'm back in full-mode its between 30-seconds
and 2 minutes before it just restarts. Any way to find
an error log of what the hell is going wrong, or any way
to fix it?

Thanks,

rob.

That was my first thought, too.... but i updated norton
AV 2003 and ran it, as well as running windows update and
both say that i'm fine and virus free. I'll run the
fixblast util just in case and let you know what I find
out. Right now its finishing up a repair installation of
XP.

Regards,

rob.

Ok, reinstalled XP and ran fixblast and it found
nothing. There is no blaster or anything similar in my
processes.

Now the computer is stacking up error messages that just
say "Windows has recovered from a serious error" asking
me if I want to send the results to MS. I'll send them
in, but I'm curious... how do I find out what's causing
this error and how do I go about trying to fix it without
reformatting?

rob.
