Mallikarjun

We are newly installed a Windows 2000 PDC for our network.
we are able to connect and access all the member computers
of the PDC from all Operating Systems except Windows XP
Professional. we are sucessfully joined the Win XP machine
into the newly installed Win 2000 domain but we are un
able to access the member computers directly every time
Win XP system asking for user/password to connect with
member computers. Because of this we are unable to set
share permessions in Win XP machines.

Thanks

are you sure the xp has joined the domain? I have feeling that the xp uses
cached credentials to logon. Have you checked DNS records and xp is listed
there? if using nslookup on xp, what do you get?
