Windows XP Professional takes awhile before it shuts down

When I shutdown Windows XP I get this message "Outlook .exe" is not
responding. If I hit the "end now" button, the message "Outlook.exe" goes
away, but then it keeps coming back. After doing this 8-9 times, Windows
finally shutsdown. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Try going to the Help menu in Outlook. See if there's a "Repair" or "Detect
and Repair" option there. If so, use it and see if it fixes the problem.

A temporary workaround is to shutdown Outlook before shutting down the system.
