Windows XP Professional Logon

I moved my computer and when I restarted it and tried to log on using the
administrator password it logs on and then automatically logs me off after
briefly showing my desktop (without the icons). It returns me to the Welcome
and admin sign on screen.

I need to know what happened and how I can log on to XP normally.
