Hi, i an issue regarding the OS. A friend had a geniue OS home edition,
he upgraded it to OS pro but is not geniue but he is up to date to all
updates from microsoft.
It is working spot on but i do not understand why it was found being
geniue cause its pirate.
He did not used any other method to make it work.

Once installed he can not go back to OS home, in fact thare is a way
but he does not want, Pro is better. Which way could he uses to make it
legally, practicaly speaking though it works very well in this way too.

Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it Emy, pirate or no pirate, if it works don't try to
fix it. You might end up buggering it.

Buy a legit copy of XP Pro and do a repair install. That will retain
programs and files. Or go to this site.
