Windows XP PRO Log in Problems with Server 2000

I am trying to connect 25 computer to Server 2000 for our
school using XP PRO. When we connect to our domain it
will take the computer over 5 minutes to pull the profile
of the user. With WIN 2000 it was automatic. Anyone have
any suggestion?
 
Ensure that you have good DNS name resolution in your environment.
All Windows XP clients should point to an internal DNS server that is
authoritative for the domain.

If that is OK, then you might want to enable UserEnv logging
and take a network trace to see where the delay is:
