Windows XP Pro Activation

Good Morning,

Please help! I purchased a Dell Latitude CP M233XT laptop through eBay.
The laptop came with Windows XP Pro installed. When I try to use MS Word, a
screen pops up for Microsoft Office XP Pro w/FrontPage Activation Wizard.

This laptop did not come with backup software. The wizard asks for the CD
to complete activation. Is there any hope in using this program, or do I
need to uninstall it and install a previous version of Windows on the
laptop.

Also, can someone refresh my memory as to how to save the files of a
program from CD so as not to have to use the CD? There is a way to say
"store the CD contents" on your hard drive in case you need to add other
components but without having to use the CD; I just cannot remember how I
did this before.

Office is not part of windows, it's a separate suite of programs. Contact
the Vendor about this.
