Windows XP paid support.

That's $35 per issue! So, if you have a problem with Internet Explorer and
a problem with Files and Folders, that would be $70 to address both issues.
If you want to sell computers, you need to make sure that your clients are
clear about who to contact for technical support. Generally, when people
buy a computer from a company they want technical support from that company.

I saw on the XP Home Support Options page
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;prodoffer33a&sd=GN)
that paid support is available for $35. Is that for a year of toll-free
tech support or what? I am selling computers and wish to offload a billion
XP-related support questions to Microsoft so I have more time to answer
other questions, and $35 seems reasonable if it's for a year. What's
included or whatever? Thanks.

I think the only way to off-load the support on to Microsoft would be to buy
retail copies of the OS' - you'll have to check what support that would
entitle the users too.

The best way is probably to setup a website/database with the frequent
problems and solutions in - that would help - also making easy links to MS
knowledge base articles might help too.
