Windows XP Networking

When attempting to connect to another computer in my
workgroup, I get a permissions error, even though I have
turned on simple file sharing. Any idea what might be
causing this? Thanks very much.
 
Is the other machine also Windows XP ?
Does your user account exist on the other machine with
suffiencient access rights for the shared resources ?
 
Yes and yes. Just trying to set up a simple workgroup,
do I need same user accounts on all machines? Thanks for
your help.
