Please help. My modem runs off USB. I have 1 PC and 1 server. The server
doen't have a USB port, so I want to network them together. I have an ASDL
modem (256KBPS) and I want to run the modem off the PC, not the server. Now I
want to use the internet connection setup wizard, I load it on to a floppy,
(by the way, the PC has XP, and the server has windows 2000 professional),
then it says: network setup wizzard is not supported for windows 2000, only
for windows XP, 98, 98se and melenium. But I can't see why it isn't supported
for 2000, because 2000 doesn't have network setup wizzard. And also, the
network adapters say they're connected, but they won't find the computers on
the network, so in other words, they won't share files, internet connections
or printers. Please help. Thankyou!
