Windows XP - Memroy Ungrade?

I am running Windows XP on a Dell P4 1.8 GHz w/256MB PC 800 RDRAM - would
upgrading to 512 MB be a good idea? I have two memory slots available. Is
512MB enough?

the good thing with xp you can upgrade to a lot more than 512 if your
motherboard will let you as with 98 and me you had to stick lines in the
system.ini file to help with say 768mb. so put as much as you like in bill
as long as your mobo will take it and also dependening on what you are doing
on it.
