Windows XP licensing purchase question

S

Steve Smith

I'm thinking about building 5 computers. I'd like to use four at home(one
for each family member) and use one computer at my office. What's the
cheapest way for me to get five Windows XP licenses? Could I purchase a
Volume License for five computers and save money? If not, is there any other
discount program available for this many copies?

If I were to purchase a Volume License, does this license expire and would I
be able to sell the computers in the future and transfer an individual
license?

Thank you,
Steve Smith

A Volume License cannot be sold or transferred to another user.

Example of a good, reputable, online retailer:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Service Pack 2 - OEM

Microsoft Windows XP HOME Edition With Service Pack 2 - OEM
