Windows/XP/IE6/TOOLS/ Internet Options

I am the 'Administrator' and the (only) user of my
laptop. Recently, I decided to start using a password to
log-in (for office security reasons).

That all works fine. However, now when I go to
IE/tools/Internet Options... I get this error
message: "Operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer. See
Administrator...."

That's me! But I can only see one log-in choice, and
that is in my user name, not as Administrator.

Question: How to I lift the "restrictions" so that I can
use Tool/Internet Options again????

go to start, run....type in "lusrmgr.msc"

go to the properties of your username (right click ur user, go to
properties)


In the "member of" tab, set your account as an administrator, and remove
everything else..
