I just noticed that I have over 22 Window XP Hotfix's
when I opened my add or remove program. What Hotfix's and
should I remove them.

Thanks for any help

Hotfixes" are the updates you installed from the Windows Update
website. Do not be tempted to remove them or you will uninstall
the actual updates.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's
excellent website for instructions.

Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the
actual updates.

These are the critical (and other) updates that you've installed.
Do not remove them; if you do, you will be uninstalling all those
fixes and opening up all the security loopholes they closed.

Hot fixes are patches that prevent hackers getting into
your pc. Hot fixes also protect against the Blaster virus
and other similar malware. They are often installed
automatically by windows update. I would leave them alone.
